I created this painting at a time when I was experimenting with pointillism. It's a method of building up an image using small dots of color. I began with a pale background and then began building up the image with spots of overlapping colors. This image is of two dancing “X” figures. “X” is a mark I love to make, and in this painting two of them are happily playing with each other.
